FSA, the financial services training academy of macsimize, launched the first public programme in wealth management in Taiwan. The inaugural class had 17 participants, representing 8 different banks and financial institutions in Taiwan. "We are pleased with this first programme, having many of the local and international banks represented in our class. We currently are offering a 5 days intensive certification programme in wealth management, which is accredited by the American Academy of Financial Management and the Wealth Management Association. Successful graduates will achieve the Chartered Wealth Manager status", says John Paterson, executive director of FSA. The program was offered in jointly in partnership with Ivy Education Group and Soochow University Business School in Taiwan. Ms. Pamela Peng, director of Ivy, said "The market for continuing professional education for financial professionals is still very strong. Taiwan financial professionals are being recruited not only domestically, but they are also in high demand with employers in Hong Kong and China. We are pleased to cooperate with FSA to bring innovative programs to serve this growing market sector."


January 2007 - Singapore

macsimize announced the opening of a new office location located in downtown Singapore. "Our business in Singapore has grown nicely in the past few years. As many of our clients operate their regional offices from Singapore, we felt it was important to establish a hub for our trainers and consultants from around the region", says Carl Thong, managing director.

Nicholas Ong, a certified NLP (neuron-linguistic) practitioner, is an experienced sales trainer and team building facilitator. He has over 7 years of training experience, including working for the well-known Adam Khoo training centre. In addition to delivery of training, Nicholas is also extensively involved in instructional design of training content.
